Quinn Annemans
Biography: Quinn began his love for dancing at 5 by dancing around his home in Auckland and taking every moment he could to dance. He moved onto to recreational classes at the age of 8, where he began with Jazz and Hip-Hop. Few years down the track, he took his next step into Ballet, Contemporary and Tap. This was where Quinn had discovered his true passion for dance and began the professional development he needed.

Since then, Quinn has trained in all styles, recently adding Commercial Jazz to his agenda, in both open and syllabus focused classes. Completing up to Advanced 1 Modern Theatre ISTD, and Intermediate Imperial ISTD Ballet, both with high distinctions.

Quinn was accepted into The Edge Performers School - FULL TIME in Melbourne with a Full Scholarship for 2017, where he extended his vocabulary and teaching skills even further, while learning the tricks to be in the industry.

His love of teaching and choreography began 3 years ago where we was mentored by Alicia Chadwick-Cook and Alana Tod to make him the teacher and choreographer he is today. He is now being mentored by Kylie Norris in order to further his choreography career. Quinn has now taught all over Auckland at many studios including the likes of Northern Performing Arts and Norris Studios, and recently in Melbourne at Victoria Ballet School.

Quinn is now pursuing his strong passion for teaching and choreography wherever he can and is “excited to put choregraphy on any dancer he comes across” . While being based in Auckland he will be continuously seeking international work while striving to make the most out of any students or fellow dancers he comes across.
