We have been teaching dance for over 35 years in the Franklin area.  8Count Dance Studio aim to provide students with the best dance  experience from NZAMD qualified teachers/coaches.  Building and encouraging a passion and love for dance and cheer in all our students.

With industry professionals in TV, stage acting, singing and dance we offer you teachers with more industry experience than anywhere else in South Auckland.

We offer more stage time throughout the year than any other studio with a senior mid year show and end of year show.  More exposure at events and demonstrations throughout the year in the Franklin area:   Counties Steelers games, Pukekohe V8s, Pukekohe & Waiuku Xmas parades, Pukekohe Xmas in the Park, local school demonstrations, various fundraisers and local events throughout Franklin.

Mckenzie Northcott
Biography: Mckenzie began dancing jazz at 8count at the age of 4 and continues to study jazz.
She has sat and achieved high marks in all of her exams right from Rosette One to Intermediate Jazz and now has the desire to teach other students who wish to do the same.
She has student taught with Sarah for 2 years in Rosette Three Jazz and Grade 3 Jazz with great enthusiasm.
Right from a young age Mckenzie has been a part of performance groups competing all around Auckland.

Mckenzie continues to find time out of her busy schedule to represent the studio in the senior performance group and wishes to continue dancing at 8count for as long as she can.
