We have been teaching dance for over 35 years in the Franklin area.  8Count Dance Studio aim to provide students with the best dance  experience from NZAMD qualified teachers/coaches.  Building and encouraging a passion and love for dance and cheer in all our students.

With industry professionals in TV, stage acting, singing and dance we offer you teachers with more industry experience than anywhere else in South Auckland.

We offer more stage time throughout the year than any other studio with a senior mid year show and end of year show.  More exposure at events and demonstrations throughout the year in the Franklin area:   Counties Steelers games, Pukekohe V8s, Pukekohe & Waiuku Xmas parades, Pukekohe Xmas in the Park, local school demonstrations, various fundraisers and local events throughout Franklin.

Tracey Rogers
Biography: Tracey has been dancing since she was 5yrs old. She trained in jazz, contemporary and ballet. Tracey successfully competed in many different competitions throughout New Zealand including PACANZ Modern Jazz & Ballet Nationals where she won the Modern Jazz section in 2001. She completed her Advanced II Royal Academy Ballet exam and was accepted as an Associate of the Royal Academy of Dance (ARAD).

In 2005 Tracey graduated from Unitec with a Bachelor of Performing & Screen Arts (majoring in contemporary dance), and became a founding member of Backlit Productions Contemporary Dance Company. She has been dancing professionally for many years in New Zealand focusing on commercial and contemporary dance including working for Diamond Entertainment.

Tracey has been teaching for over 10 years in Auckland and Melbourne. She enjoys sharing her passion for dance and helping young dancers grow.
